BUDGET HEARING
Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing on the Proposed 2023 Budget for the Town of Manitowish Waters, Vilas County, Wisconsin, will be held at the Town Hall, 5733 Airport Road on Tuesday November 10, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. The proposed budget in detail is available for inspection in the Clerk’s office at the Town Hall from 10:00 a.m.

The Fall Draw Down – The When and the Why
The water level in the Chain above the dam will likely decrease from its current level and reach 8’0″ sometime shortly before October 1st.
Then beginning on October 1st, the level will be drawn down from 8’0″ to reach the final winter level on or before October 31st.
The Transfer Station is located 1/2 mile north of beautiful downtown Manitowish Waters at 217 Hwy W.

Individuals that are interested in acquiring an annual pass for unlimited access to the brush pile, may stop in the Town Offices and obtain a pass for $50.00 for the year from the date of purchase.
