Note any postings, wear PFD (personal floatation devices) when appropriate, be considerate of others (humans and wildlife), wash off with soap and fresh water after swimming in our lakes, and note any municipal ordinances related to water usage and boating. Frank B. Koller Memorial Beach Re-Opened
Per the Vilas County Public Health Department the Frank B. Koller Memorial beach in Manitowish Waters has been re-opened, effective today August 7, 2025. Water samples were re-tested and have returned to normal, indicating normal beach activity can resume.
Board of Review Notice
Pursuant to Wisconsin Statute §70.47(10), the Board of Review will convene on:
September 16, 2025 at 10:00am at the Manitowish Waters Town Hall
Spectrum Estimated Completion Dates
The Google Earth Map shows the estimated completions dates. There are areas that might take a little longer such as easements or Xcel Poles attachments that are pending pole replacements. Spectrum's goal is to have everything completed by the end of September.

The Transfer Station is located 1/2 mile north of beautiful downtown Manitowish Waters at 217 Hwy W.

CLOSED HOLIDAYS (Except Memorial Day and Labor Day)
Individuals that are interested in acquiring an annual pass for unlimited access to the brush pile, may stop in the Town Offices and obtain a pass for $50.00 for the year from the date of purchase.
